Youth Services

Each year the CHS Youth Services Program offers 1 week of winter camp during the February school break and summer camps for 3 weeks with morning and afternoon sessions each day. Each Camp lasts for one week and is based on a theme with fun activities. During each week the campers, between 6-12 years of age, participate in interactive learning involving crafts, music, and games; all of which are designed to improve the child’s self esteem, and self confidence while keeping them active. The camp is run by a head teacher who is assisted by several middle school and high school volunteers. The head teacher is not only responsible for planning and implementing each camp’s program, but also working with the volunteers building their confidence and leadership skills. Registration flyers are sent home through the BH-BL Elementary Schools or for more information contact Janine Sargalis @ 399-4624.
